Education at Abbots Reading Farm
As part of our Higher Level Stewardship agreement with Natural England, we are now able to offer group visits to the farm. We have excellent facilities including a classroom, access trailer, bird hide, viewing platform etc... Visits are free of charge but you will have to organise and pay for transport.

We aim to provide stimulating and interesting visits, full of exciting first hand experiences, which are linked to the National Curriculum. The visits are run by ourselves, with life long farming experience and my wife, who is a qualified primary school teacher, has 18 years teaching experience. We can arrange pre-visit meetings so we can discuss themes and ensure the activities are tailor made to suit your requirements.
